DRL & low beam

Featured Replies

Any chance to have DRL on simultaneously with the low beam (bi-xenon)

Now, when open low beam the DRL goes off!

Sorry for my bad english!

Why?  The whole purpose of DRLs is to make the car more visible when no other lights are on.  There is no such requirement when the headlights are on.

.

What year is your Superb? I presume you have a pre facelift model? As above I can't see why you would want them on unless you have LED DRLs and the LEDs are not working when your dipped beam is on??

If your DRLs are in the lower part of the front bumper (in the fog light housing area) then having your DRLs on with your dipped beam would be similar to having your foglights on (at a lower output of course).

2010 model, pre-facelift.

DRL in fog housing!

DRL's are too bright to be used at night.

This is why they turn off when dipped headlights are turned on.
