Anyone got a different one from the stock one on their car?

 

Has it made any difference and worth the price?

 

Been looking on Awesome GTI but it's showing two different ones for my car but at different prices.

Well i have a K&N panel filter and it has helped the noise but not much else

Paper ones need replacing and cotton type ones just need washing out so money saved in the long run

They are meant to allow more air in but not 100% sure my self the nice deeper noise was worth it for me tho

IMHO get a paper one...

K&N are 6 times the cost of a paper one and unless you keep your car 6 years what`s the point?

It's for the FL vRS Tsi.

The std paper filter flows really well unless you've done lots of other work downstream of the filter.  Change it every 30,000km for a new Mann element.  They are only 10 quid.
