Automatic Headlights

Featured Replies

Hi again,

Went to UK to buy a Skoda Superb I (58 plate) due to it being so cheap over there. Paid 950 GBP compared to the €5000 it is here.

I've been reading on this forum of ways to make the lights automatic (as per law here) but I can't seem to get it to work if I hold the headlight switch in and turn the key. There is no maxidot so I can't use that method. Is this a feature the UK model does not have or is there something I'm doing wrong?

thanks

Superb Mk1 does not have auto lights in any country I believe...

no auto-headlights on mine either..i don't think the mk1 superb comes with auto headlight on any of its variants .

I should rephrase the question having seen the auto feature isn't the same as what I'm asking.

I'm referring to DRL, aka the lights are on when you start the ignition
