Skoda assistance, does it cover other cars?

Featured Replies

I have an old eunos roadster..... last year my insurance covered breakdown (I couldn't delete the option_) I looked into it , and thought i didn't need it, as skoda assistance covered "me" .....

this year, my eunos insurance doesn't cover breakdown......

may be taking my eunos on some long journeys this year .... looked into it, and I cant see anywhere online where it says skoda assistance would cover me if I was in another car.....

so I'm thinking I need to get breakdown cover for the eunos separately....

can anyone clarify if the skoda assistance covers me? or JUST the car ? (no conjecture please, just if you know the answer...)

Ta!

It only covers Skoda vehicles .

thankyou :)

Yep, unlike other policies it covers the car not the driver.

Just did full AA cover on SWMBO's motor, £80 I think. She's constantly on the road with ferrying the kids around so a small price to pay I felt.

£30 for single vehicle cover through the AA at the moment, with £10 cashback through Quidco.

Lexus assistance is the one to have, it covers any car on your drive but you have to by a Lexus !

I have Autoaid for my MX-5 as my Seat assist only covers the Toledo which came with it for 3 years. £41 for the year, you pay the recovery and claim back the costs. Never used it yet but it's there for peace of mind.

You need to check with the provide with Basic Roadside Assistance or Recovery if it is on vehicles over 10 year old say.

Possibly a higher level of cover is required with some, like it is with the RAC.

Which is why i have Family Cover at the highest Level and it does not only cover the cars, but as a Driver or Passenger in any car.

Purchased every Year using Tesco Club Card Reward Points.

Worth having a decent level of cover IMO.

Im covered for anything im in, be it mine or if im just a passenger, bike or car.
