First skoda

Featured Replies

Hi all well as title says this is the first skoda i have ever owned and even though i know i have a great car at a great price i would like to see what every one on hear thinks!!!!

So this is my 2004 superb comfort 1.9TDI PD (130) Automatic with most of the bells and whistle on so it has 2 previouse owners and a genuine  38,175 miles on the clock service history but not skoda service

in very good codition the only thing it needs are 2 mirrors which i have now got now painted and ready to fit SO my question is WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE PAID FOR THIS CAR

lets see who gets the closest

when i looked online and asked we want to buy your car.com they offerd £1995 with suprised me

With that sort of mileage I would expect to pay £2500-£3000 privately, depending on what "bells and whistles" it has.

I would have paid £1800 , because it's heavy and would feel slow.

Wow, bargain.  Spend a little time sorting the water leaks that they all get, think about a gearbox oil / filter change if there isn't any history of one, and you should have a car for years there.  I bought mine with 38K miles on it almost 4 years ago now, for £6.5K.  Now got 147500 on it.  Needed a gearbox at 96K which I might not have needed if I'd changed the oil instead of following the "sealed for life" BS.
