So after a recent retrofit of an Amundsen+ to my Octavia 2, I started to regret my descision to go with the Amundsen instead of the Columbus. If I'm able to get rid of the Amundsen-unit for a reasonable price, I might go ahead and buy a Columbus. Since I live in Norway, I would need an unit DAB+. Is there anyway I can see by looking at the serial or part number to figure out if the unit has DAB+?

Basically the last three numbers are '686'.

 

The last letter will indicated whether it has the faster more reliable SSD or standard HDD installed.

You will find some versions (the suffix letter) are not listed on the 'My Gti' website and can make identifying SSD/HDD units a little tricky.
