Right i've searched the forum and still none the wiser, i've got a 57 plate mk2 octavia and i want to fit a sub/amp in the boot. I have the OEM Blaupunkt SatNav head unit.

 

The Head unit obviously has no phono/rca out ports but a mate reckons you can get a Yellow 6 pin ISO to 2 channel RCA output, now i hate wires and not very clued up, ive also seen someone with an 11 plate fabia just run a wire from front left/right speaker into an RCA connection from behind the head unit.

 

What have other people done or found the best way to hook up a sub/amp to the OEM Head Unit? 

 

any help is much appreciated!

Get an amp that supports a speaker level input and tap it off one of the rear speakers.

I'd sooner replace the HU than add a sub though personally
