Rear brake hose question

Featured Replies

I'm currently in the process of changing the two rear calipers on my tdi vrs. One side is done. I was doing the other side last weekend but the metal pipe going to the caliper was twisting trying to undo it. So i left it alone and got my son to make some up at work to fit this weekend. However, he's come home this evening with M8 threads fitted on the pipes and they're too small. So he can get some made up tomorrow, does anyone know what thread sizes these pipes are fitted with? It also looks like one size into the flexi pipe and a bigger size to the caliper.

I've had the same problem. To be honest, just order OE pipes for all they cost and the hassel you save.

Any idea how much they cost and possible p/n ?

I don't have the part number, think they were about £20 each.

20 quid!! Dear me! They know how to charge. I'll get my son to make some for me it'll only cost a few quid. Two bits of pipe and some threaded joints. I'll confirm the thread sizes when i know. Thanks.
