2010 MkII vRS CR170 DSG in Candy White - *SOLD*

Featured Replies

Hi,

I will be selling my car on Autotrader at the end of next week, but thought I would give the Briskoda family first dibs on my car which is for sale.

It's the highest-spec MkII vRS I can find anywhere on the internet.

MOT until 6th June 2016 (passed with no issues)

It’s just had new front discs and pads with last MOT (72k), rears are still originals.

Serviced (all at All Electric Skoda, Kings Heath, Birmingham) as follows:

30/07/11 - 17,507 miles

06/10/12 - 35,097 miles

03/02/14 - 52,992 miles

08/05/15 - 70,486 miles

DSG oil changes on second and fourth services, so just done.

Brake fluid changed 19/06/13 and 08/05/15.

Air Con serviced on 08/05/15.

Cambelt, tensioner and waterpump all changed on 11/07/14 at 59,954 miles.

The car currently has 74,500 miles on it, but is being used and is likely to have just over 75,000 by start of August (most of the mileage is A-Road and Motorway, due to my work).

It’s got four new tyres (all of them are Uniroyal Rainsports) – I tend to get about 18k out of the fronts and 36k from the rears - I rotate them when I get new tyres.

The spec is as follows:

Octavia vRS diesel 170bhp

Registered July 17th 2010

Candy White

Tinted windows

Touch Screen Columbus Sat Nav (updated to latest software in June to give 7-digit postcode, etc.)

Xenons

DSG gearbox with paddle-shift on steering wheel

Full black vRS leather interior

Heated front seats

Ipod connection and lead

Boot Mat

Maxidot trip computer

Front and rear parking sensors

Jumbo storage box in centre arm rest

Bluetooth with voice control

Auto lights

Rain-sensing wipers

Space-saver spare wheel

I also have a portable DAB radio transmitter that I will sell with the car, so it has DAB too (as it wasn’t available in 2010 when I bought it).

I have all of the paperwork for the car, including all receipts for servicing, tyres, etc. for the entire five years; two keys and all of the manuals/books.

The alloy wheels need refurbishing due to some kerbing but I simply haven’t had time to sort them out due to my work; in addition, there is a small scratch on the front trim below the grill (photo attached) and some stone chips to the grill surround (I had this painted white when I bought it so they show up, photo also attached) - therefore, I will offer two prices, one with these items sorted prior to sale, and one with them as they are.

The two prices are £9,450 with minor stuff sorted, or £9,000 with it as is.

IMO, you won't fine a more mechanically sound, better cared-for, or better specced MkII vRS anywhere at this price.

If you're interested post below, or drop me a PM - I live in Birmingham.

All I ask is, please no time wasters.

Cheers

H

I should add this is a one owner car from New (me), never been smoked in, never had pets in, and only ever been run on Shell fuel either normal with additive or (for most of it's life) Vpower.

Bump.

Genuinely surprised that no interest has been shown so far. I can't find a higher spec mkII vRS anywhere else and think this is fairly priced based on condition and mileage (I think others for sale highlight this when u look at their age and spec).

Oh well, it will be on Autotrader next week, perhaps I'll get more interest then......

I am test-driving a car tomorrow that I am likely to make an offer for, therefore I may need my vRS sold sooner than I was anticipating (the other car tomorrow was previously being bought, but that buyer has just pulled out).

Therefore, the new prices for my vRS are:

£8,500 as it stands

£8,950 with wheels and minor scratch/grill fixed.

IMO, this is a bargain for someone; I can show all receipts and confirmation of all work done.

Cheers,

H

If this was a month or two later I'd snap it up no problem, looks a brilliant example. Currently moving house so funds are limited at the minute :(

All,

I have put a deposit on a new car this morning so could do with this being sold by next weekend.

I am going to put a classified ad on eBay tomorrow (at £8,500) but thought I would allow briskoda first go at the reduced price of £8,000.

On reflection, I think the initial price was too high (probably because I overvalued the options and how much I've spent on it keeping it tip top).

The £8k is non-negotiable because this is definitely bargain time for someone who knows how well this has been looked after when they see the service receipts, etc.

Cheers

This is now sold to a fellow Briskodian, so she is going to a good home!

Cheers Tim.
