Door Mirror Problem

Featured Replies

Managed to bump my door mirror and its partly dislodged the black part and indicator light out of the top colour coded housing. Tried squeezing & wriggling  the 2 together but cant get it to click back together.

Wasn't much of a knock and no visible signs of damage etc. Anyone know if thers a knack to this please?

Here you go, very easy

Thanks so much for that. I will have a go at removing the top and then refitting it.

Still having problems with removing the cover from my door mirror guys. Mine is  slightly different to the one shown in the video in that it has a long thin indicator lense (2011 model)  _57_1.jpg

Do all the covers prise off in the same way and is it safer to remove the glass first? It appears a lot off brute force is going to be required and I don't want to risk breaking any of the clips or damaging the paintwork.
