Hi,

Just joined the club by trading my Impreza for a new Octavia RS 230 estate in white. Was a bit impulsive as I was thinking 4x4 but last weekend saw one on the dealership floor with DSG, columbus, panorama sunroof, reversing camera, kessy and a few other options. Test drive in a manual sedan confirmed it and with a good trade in price (for Switzerland) and company discount, signed then and there.

Picked it up Friday and loving it. Have to get used to Lane Assist and ACC but goes great (a bit firm on the 19" alloys for my liking).

Hi, I hit a deer and now need a left side headlight (part no 5E8941015). I have been let down twice by car breakers in the UK who advertise the item on eBay, but then don't have it. I have found the part I need, with this part number, but it is in the Netherlands. Am I safe buying this, or are parts for left hand drive cars different, even though the number is the same?

For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car. Searching the web suggested several different ways to get the updates to "Action" A couple of days ago I discovered that notifications may show what is goin

We have just bought a second hand L&K and wish to set up two users like we did on our 2016 version but cannot work out how to do it. It seems to need a smart phone but I don't have one nor do I wish to use one. Microsoft Copilot gives lots of advice but none work (Pretty much normal for Copilot). Seat positions are OK with the buttons at the side but I like things such as distance units in SI whereas my wife likes imperial. Any advice how we can set the machine up?

Hi guys. I tried to code lane assist for my 2019 SUPERB FL using Icar pro Vgate and car scanner pro. Lane assist is showing on dashboard and in the options but it doesn't work. The icon is yellow, car displays message that it is not currently available. What did I miss... A5 camera is 2Q0980653. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Maybe there is someone with Obd11 in Shrewsbury area wilkingvto help if car scanner can't perform this coding?

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti
