Probably a very simple question!

Featured Replies

I have a 05 superb and wondered if I (actually I'll find likely somebody else to do it) could easily fit a bluetooth handsfree kit and ideally a A2DP widget so I can stream spotify WITHOUT replacing the stock stereo (it's nice and original and I don't want to mess it about)?

Is that possible please?

The stereo is a cassette player but has a CD changer in the boot so could that be disconnected and could I use the inputs from that perhaps?

I'm well out of touch with all this so any help would be splendid!

Thanks.

What headunit is currently in there?

Erm. The standard one. Not sure on the name.

Will have a look to see if it says.

I think, personally, I'd kick the unit into touch and replace it with something like this....

....not OEM like you wanted, but designed to do the job straight out of the box. A lot less faffing around, should quite literally be plug and play, instead of trying to rig something that *might* work through something that wasn't designed to do that job. All the control will be through the head unit too, so no 'extra' bits handing around....just the mic to install, and that shouldn't be too hard.

I know it's no quite the answer you wanted, but probably the better and easier way round of getting what you want.

Thanks it's an option. But not very Superby! Will have a look see what's around - might take a trip to Halfords and see what they have.

Would an iO PLAY2 work with the standard set-up please - anyone know?

For any future searchers: io play2 installed and is "Superb"
