Headrest cover removal

Featured Replies

I'm toying with the idea of fitting rear screens and am weighing up the pros and cons of the various solutions. One of them is to retrofit screens into the existing headrests - I've bought a leather VRS headrest off eBay to have a play around with before I even think about cutting my own :) but does anyone have any tips on how to safely remove the cover without causing damage? I know from previous cars and some googling (and because I can see!) the  cover is held in place with plastic clips - 1 short one each side and a ling one in the middle between the mounting posts - but I can' see a way of prying them out without using brute force!
