Hi guys i have purchased my first Skoda superb, a 2006 elegance 2.0 tdi i love the car but i think i have put the radio code in wrong and it is now stuck in safe mode, i have left it for an hour like it says in the booklet but nothing is working, can some one please help me?

i must also say it is not my first Skoda, in fact it is my 7th but the first six were Estelle's and one Rapid 136 fuel injection, i loved my old girls and wish i had kept the rapid

If someone else has already entered the code and failed, after the first 3 attempts its one hour, but then for each entry after that it increases to very high numbers. During the wait time the radio must be powered up with the key in the ignition.

You may find the quickest solution is to visit a dealer, pay about £25 and they should be able to override the safe lockout and get it going again.
