Steering Controller

Hi All

My 08 PD VRs indicators, wipers and main beam head light have either stopped working completely for a while and then work briefly. I've scanned it for codes and I get: Address 16: Steering wheel Cannot be reached! I believe both indicator and light stalks are connected to the steering controller.

Presumably the steering wheel needs to come off to access the controller, how easy is this? I've looked online and in the forums and all seem to say it's realtively easy to do! But for the life of me I can't see where to stick a screwdriver to release the airbag etc!! As I'm knocking on in years a bit of guidance would be appreciated!!

I've checked all fuses etc. and everything seems ok.
