Can anyone help I have owned my mk2 2.0 tfsi for around 2 years now and I have only just noticed when I'm accelerating into the boost, if I let go of the accelerator i can hear a kinda of dump valve noise coming from the exhaust.

I have never heard this before I was wondering if anyone could be any help to me as to what it could be.

It does need a service which will be very soon if that helps ?

Sounds like a hole in the exhaust, probably where the pipe runs into the back box, failed weld maybe.
