I would like to ungrade the Swing in my Fabia TD to a Radio/CD player with Sat Nav. however I would like to retain the reversing graphics when I select reverse gear.

 

Can anyone suggest a cost effective plug and play upgrade and whether I need a surround?

are you looking at aftermarket or something from the VAG stable ??

 

i fitted a rcd510 dab basically a bolero with dab but red buttons 

 

goes well with the w8 interior light 

I don't mind to be honest. What is important to my wife is that the reversing graphics that are displayed on the Swing are displayed on the new unit.

 

The rcd510 Dab hasn't go Sat Nav has it? This is the main reason why I'm looking at upgrading.

Do you have maxidot display??

It will work without but works loads better with

Ie when coded it will display next turn in the maxidot rather than having to keep looking down to look at the radio

Also bear I'm mind you will need to buy a gps receiver and stick it under the dash

Keel an eye out on the forsale section usually a few crop up every now and again

I understand one is a better unit of either the Amundsen and the Columbus but not sure which one that is
