Featured Replies

im sorry to bang on about this but im getting really frustrated. guys on here tell me that my 2007 octy vrs tfsi 1Z3 which has a heater blower that just stopped working ,the fault would be the resistor pack.i did have the AA test the resistor and no power was coming out of it.so when i looked up the said pack on ebay and skospares ref6Q0959263A ebay ask the compatability questions which came back as this part fits the octy as well.but when i ring skospares and talk to him he says it a fabia and does not fit my octy, and my octy heater blower  resistor pack is all in one and not separate resistor pack .so confusing or what!!!! he says i need a blower heater motor all in one.i then rang parts dept at progress northampton and they say its an all in one unit at 495.00!!!!!!!,so can anyone help tell me which one it is as i need to get it sorted asap.ps before you ask have i had a look under the glove compartment i cant at present as im just out of hospital.

Oh well thanks for not replying!!!!!    my heater blower  problem has been solved by my local garage .heres the lowdown if anyone is interested. if you want to get a resistor pack for an octy vrs be aware,if you go to any dealer or garage they will tell you that you need to buy the whole blower motor as it has an inbuilt resistor. Oh no it doesnt!!!!! take it to a small garage like i did . they took the motor  out and on oneside of it is like a small  square box with like bumps ,looks like a hedghog which does actually detach.so after they spoke to eurocar parts they got him the right part fitted and now a nice warm vrs!!!! so the moral of this story is not go to a big garage as they will give u an oem price cost forme was £100 inc labour so not too bad.

Well done for coming back to post the answer to help others. Nothing more frustrating than trying to search for answers for a car issue and not finding any ha.
