fabia mk2 and oem rcd310 dab steering wheel volume

Featured Replies

Hi! I just installed a second hand rcd 310 dab in my 2013 mk2 vrs. Everything seems to be working (could use the manual though if anyone has a link) except steering wheel volume control. I read in an earlier topic that this can be fixed with VCDS. Does anyone happen to know which setting needs to be changed to make the controls work?

have you got access to VCDS?

have you checked the 'radio' settings?

i recall seeing something like 'short press steering wheel controls' or something along those lines?

I don't have access personally, but can get friends to help. They don't know anything about Skodas though, so I probably need the exact string to change.

It'll be under the Radio module. (or 37 navigation if its there, but im not sure if you have to have nav installed for that to be there?)

copy the long number just incase.

Long coding helper, then look through the different bytes.

There should be one there about short press steering controls, there is on mine.
