On my june 2015 Golf, I have "Composition media" type stereo system and want to know can this be upgraded to run "Carplay" or the "Mirrorlink" systems?

The whole system was replaced early December but still cannot see these options, if it is possible is it a dealer thing?

I'm running an IPhone 6 on latest IOS.

Done lots of reading but cannot see a definitive answer regarding an upgrade etc.
