Rear Parking Sensor Display

Featured Replies

The reversing sensor display in my Bolero head unit (facelift version) has disappeared - I still get the 'beeps' though. Any thoughts?

Remove fuse or disconnect power to it. If that does not clear it, go back to dealer.

^ fuse out in main box in engine compartment worked for me several years ago, remount fuse after about a minute to generate a complete reboot of the bolero, cured a similar prob!

Thanks - will try later. If no joy with that, I can live with it rather than the hassle of a dealer trip until the car goes back for its emissions fix.

Have you tried removing the radio permanent live fuse under the bonnet for 30 seconds to reset it (fuse no8 if I remember rightly).

Got back in the car yesterday and it seems to have rectified itself without any action on my part - mystery.

Did it just happen during one journey or several? I have had this a few times over the last five years. I just took the key out and restarted the engine and all was fine.

Over a couple of journeys - I think - I don't always look at it.

I have had an intermittent problem with my display since July. My Yeti has been in my local dealer 8 times (the last time for 2 weeks) to try and rectify the problem to no avail. I have had various software updates, a new radio and 2 new body control modules and the display is still intermittent. I knew there was a post from earlier in 2015 about this but couldn't find it. I am relieved that I am not the only one this is happening to. No one at either the dealers or Skoda appear to know what is the problem
