Hello, could somebody please confirm to me if the gloss black wing mirrors are painted or not. Some p***k hit my lads wing mirror yesterday and split the black plastic cover and cracked the indicator. To me they look like a gloss plastic finish, not painted. The mrs rang our local Skoda dealer and the guy on the other end of the phone insisted they need to be painted, "if you look closely you'll notice a fleck in the paint" he said, £40 for the cover and £40 to paint and fit it. Yeah right I thought. 

Can someone put me right on this.

£22 approx plus postage for 2, a lot cheaper than dealer.

I ordered it. 35 EUR in my country, and they are painted in glossy black.
