my car has started to fight against me!

Featured Replies

When driving my car everynow now and then it gives out a wee stutter here or there, I have looked at posts saying this can be caused if the dpf if removed, mine is still there.

Also when I go over various sized bumps in the road it sometimes happens, the best way to describe it is as if a minor brake application is being applied.

Can anyone help me with what this could be please???

any input would be appreciated.

Is it happening when the wheels are in the air like the below picture? :D

mine does that too as I think it is the ESP kicking in when the wheels are not in contact with the road

it's more like when you come over the brow and "half" accelarate down the hill (ie. not coasting and not "pushing on") - the car seems to slow itself down

Mine does that. It gathers momentum going down hills and will stop accelerating even though my foot is half on the accelerator. Usually feels a little jolt when it's doing so!

it is like a little jolt that I get. Today for the first time the esp light came on when I went over a patched up piece of roadworks with both front wheels hitting it, the car gave the wee jolt and the esp light flashed up.

could be caused due to the car being lowered?

its annoying as fook
