Definitive number for Spark Plugs for VRS

Featured Replies

Ok, i have searched all over and seen different numbers for plugs NGK and then referral to Denso etc.  But i need the correct number for the Plugs i need for a 2013 CTHE engined VRS.  I want to do them myself as i don;t trust the dealership to fit the right ones, and also i want to see the old plugs and see the condition after 32k.  So if anybody could please confirm he right ones for me that would be great.  Perhaps we could get this put to the top to so others know .  PS its standard bar a Catback and will not be mapped etc

Thanks

i can only say that Denso SKJ20CR have been brilliant for me. Gapped at 0.6mm they  completely cured my misfire & over 8000 miles later they still look good with no sign of oiling or tip wear.

Next time a change of plug is required I might try the Denso Iridium TT - see here:-

Totally agree with above, set at same gap, running a tuning box with no problems at all.

All correct, and might be fitted by a Audi, VW or Seat Dealership, or by any of us.

But a Skoda Dealership is likely to tell you to use.

03C905601B / SIZFR6B8EG (NGK 96209)

That is what they fit.  That is what they consider OEM since they became OEM after the previous plugs that went in early CAVE Engines.

I would go with the DENSO plugs tho.

Another agree for the Denso plugs. Have been running perfectly in mine @ 0.6 gap and running a tuning box

Are the Denso plugs also the same for the CAVE engine? I think the answer to that is yes but just want to make sure. :)

Yes!

Yes!

Much appreciated!
