Felicia Headlights

Featured Replies

Hi folks

Got my 1997 Felicia serviced today just before its NCT test (Irish MOT).

Was told that the headlights need replacing because the motors in them have seized. The cost will be between

They arent motorised, they are operated by a hydraulic system. They quite often go wrong and are left due to the expense of the rather odd system.

Have a search on the site, they can be adjusted and it is described somewhere.

I suspect they are mistaken. Lots of members - myself included - have had problems with the hydraulically operated headlight adjustment mechanism failing. Use Search and you will find how to disconnect the mechanism at the back of each headlight and restore adequate adjustment via the adjustment screws on the headlight units.

Ooops - beaten to a reply!
