AC Fault

Featured Replies

I've noticed that for a while now my AirCon seems to be intermittent. Some times it works lovely, others, it doesn't seem to do anything.  I had it recharged, which didn't really fix it either.  I had my car scanned on VCDS recently, and noticed this error:

Could it just be a fuse or dodgy connector to the AC compressor?  The climate control unit is working as far as I can tell - when I press the AC button, the LED lights up and the displays shows the AC notification.

It seems like a weird conicidence that this error has appeared after doing my IM replacement, so I have a horrible feeling I've disconnected the AC connector and forgotten to reattach it.  I'll check the fuse and that this wire is not disconnected.

What else should I look at?
