So over the last couple of months the below has happened a couple of times.

 

Car is an 07 VRS Diesel, PD 170

 

Driving along between 65-80 in 6th. Rev drop and car slow (obviously), revs pick back up and may drop again but all is normal. No lights on dash.

 

Seems to happen from what I remember when trying to accelerate.

 

Seems like a fuel issue? Injectors?

 

Any suggestion. I'm going to change the fuel filter and see what happens?

Yeah I can do that. But Would assume rightly or wrongly that I would get a light either stay on or flash on the dash if it was a sensor or electrical fault?

Not always. An intermittent fault won't necessarily bring up a dash light.
