Hello all. I have just bought a 7p6 bluetooth kit but have noticed the microphone and loom both have a female connector. After looking at some pics of the male plug I assume there is no fancy circuitry inside the plug, so my options are to A) cut both plugs solder and heatshrink. B find some form of connector from maplin to join them. Is my assumption correct about the male plug?

cut both plugs and solder should be fine.. only do this once you have put it all in to your car though
