Hi does anyone no what type of oil goes into a 5 speed manual transmission.

Gearbox code is JCR.

Engine code is BXE.

Personally I always use genuine. VAG boxes can be a little fussy with gearbox oil.

Any fully synthetic 85W/90 quoting a VAG500 series number, except Sylkoline Syntrans ( which it's well established that VAG boxes don't like) should be ok.
