Back in a Skoda again.

Featured Replies

After 4 years of being out of a Skoda I am back in a Skoda. I have taken a backward step but one that was needed. I currently own a 65 plate Focus ST3 petrol turbo and have owned that since new. But I am moving from Notts to Cheshire so will be doing some initial commuting for a while. Hence the change to a Skoda. I have purchased a white Octavia VRS 2010 diesel FL estate. I test drove it last week and I was still impressed how they drive. Reminded me of the fun I had in my mk2 Octy tfsi. However I dont plan on going stage 2+ etc but will fit the S3 console bushes and perhaps lower it again.

I forgot how big the boot is on these cars and am looking forward to that. The boot on the ST isnt that big, specially with the premium audio fitted.

All in all I couldnt think of any other car I would rather own again. When I got my ST I looked into the mk3 Octy VRS but they have gone up in price and I could get a better specced ST for 10k less, so it was a no brainer to get the ST. But needs must and I need a good solid workhorse again.

I look forward to seeing some new and old friends on here again.
