SD card won't format

I've got a Skoda maps SD card I no longer need so tried formatting it to use for music etc but nothing works!

It goes to 99% then comes up with Windows can not format and some error message. I belive its corrupt but everything is deleted off it

I would be interested in a solution to this also, currently trying to format a 64GB SD card with the same results  :(

    Make sure you're trying to format it it Fat or Fat32 and not NTFS. You might need to download a little formatting tool.
