Hi everyone,

I have a question or two about my Octavia Laurin and Clement.

1. Side mirrors, do they do not fold or there is something wrong with mine? If they don't, is it possible to get the ones that do?

2. Do not ask why, but si it happened that I had to sleep in a car on a hard shoulder after driving for 24+ hrs non stop... Anyhow, the button that locks all the doors from the inside, after pushing it the doors were unlocked after ~30 minutes automatically. Is this how it is supposed to be? If yes, any ideas how to lock the doors from inside safely?

I would really appreciate any help or advice.

Your side mirrors will fold in. If they are electric the switch is on the toggle switch that controls the position of the mirror glass. There will be a mirror and an arrow symbol below the symbol for heating the mirrors. If they're not electric you just have to fold them inwards manually. Electric folding mirrors can be retrofitted but I believe it's quite a big and relatively expensive job.
