I've just bought myself a set of 6x9's and I am wanting to fit them where the existing 5 1/4 speakers are. There is enough room for the speakers to fit but obviously some sort of bracket will need to be made/bought. Has anyone else attempted this?

If needed I will have to look at a stealth shelf (Does anyone know whare i can get one?) I have a large dog so would really like to get the speakers mounted where the existing 5 1/4 speakers are so I can always take my parcel shelf with me.

Won't fit where the standard rear speakers are....there's not enough space....got my on the parcel shelf.

Just to clarify...I'm taking the standard rears are on the sides of the parcel shelf next to the side windows?

Yes the original speakers are under the plastic shelf next to the side window.
