Right we're do i start, I've got a 2008 superb mk2 3t when i first got the car it had the standard sound system no Bluetooth nothing so I upgraded to the latest version of the Columbus and bt module and harnesses ok everything fine ,But me being me Ido like the kenwood so when a kenwood came up at the right price I bought it? It's the kenwood dnx525 dab 7"w v s a ,So the minute it arrived got the mobile audio fitter to install,That's when it went down hill no power or should I say it won't power up its supposed to be direct swop looked in box used everything in there the fitter said it's got to be faulty got in touch with vendor it was working before have you got the right leads no more to do got in touch with audio supplyers they sent me different leads tried again won't power up the fitter said it's got to be faulty,NOW the point of all this waffle is i no what a pain the diagnostics on the car is if you fart in the car you have to go into vagcom and set it up would this be the same now I'm trying to fit this kenwood regards oldtimer

So let me get this right, you've never actually seen this unit working? When I had a kenwood it had a fuse in the rear, have you checked that? There's ways on the ol' tinternet of removing it and powering it from a 12v source of some sort to make sure it actually works.

Has I suspected he was ? Yes the fuse is fine been in touch with vendor they are sending out a replacement and collecting this one on Monday no quibble there ,I've got to give them top marks for customer service
