Featured Replies

i think my water pump has gone so i will have my cam belt done at the same time how much to have the cam belt done?

the bits from skoda are about £230+labour or can be had cheaper if you find a decent parts place.

i have just bought the stuff to do mine and it cost £129 but thats mates rates :D

i got a firtline water pump as these are supposed to be better than the originals, the original pump has a plastic impellor where as the firstline unit is all metal :)

the bits from skoda are about

cambelt alone maybe des but not for cambelt, tensioner, pulleys and water pump.

unless my local dealer was ripping me off

Try G.S.F (ON LINE)

THERE GOOD AND MUCH CHEAPER THAN A SEALER 4 THE SAME STUFF

The ETKA prices I have from a while back are:

Toothed belt - £23.50

Belt tensioning damper - £74.61

Tensioning roller - £44.89 (but not sure if this gets changed as well)

Water pump - £55.46

= almost £200

And those prices should all be plus VAT.

so i wasn't getting ripped off then :)
