H, I have a Skoda Octavia VRS mk 3 may 2015 model. I have a Bolero system but not sure what one. MIB 1 or 2?? can anyone advise me on what one I have please?

I would guess you have a MIB1 like me. I think the MIB2 can display (or read out?) text messages recieved on your phone, so can yours do that?

And the MIB2 screen is larger, the MIB2 came out at the end of May 2015 I believe. Mine is November 2015 and is MIB2, not sure but another way to tell might be that you are able to get a code and activate smartlink.

Bought this car 2 months ago. (Skoda Octavia 1.5 TSI DSG) and from couple of weeks ago i hear some cracking sounds when i press the brake pedal. Its not constant, sometimes it's there sometimes it's not but quite annoying. I also uploaded a video to hear the cracking. The service said that it's "normal" but this should not happen on a new car. Anyone experienced such issues? Also tried disabling the "auto hold" option but still this issue persists.

Hi, I've got a weird powered tailgate issue on my Superb. If I press the interior button I can hear the lock release, but nothing happens after. If I press the button on the outside of the boot, the lock releases but nothing happens. If I press that button a few more times, I will eventually start rising but only to about half way. If I press the outside button again, it'll drop back down again but I have to press down on the boot to get it to do the final catch. The button on the inside o

Database is maintained by Phonostar.de and Škoda doesn't hide that but one of their answer sounded similar to . . . Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. I replaced both and thought my work here was done. However it now seems to have made losses worse, this time from the reservoir, so yesterday I did a 90 min motorway drive and by the t
