Has anyone fitted Superskoda 'hood power dampers' to their mark III:

If so, do they work and are they worth it?  From the pictures on their website, the location of the fixings towards the screen end of the bonnet looks to generate a lot of pressure on them, due to the weight of the bonnet.

Had them fitted on my 2013 from virtually new. Just taken them off to fit on my new 2017 vRS. They've worked fine. You'll need to buy some ball joints off eBay to get them to fit.

Got them on mine, all good. Only extras I needed were two M6(?) washers - the ball joints were included?

Yeah got them on mine too, there is another post with lots of thoughts and photo's etc here.

Mine are fine as are many other people's. you do need to purchase some M6 washers as mentioned above and it is a good idea to grease the ball screws before fitting.
