Skoda octavia mk2 2.0 tfsi battery draining

Featured Replies

Hi

Hope you guys can help

1 night after 10 hours of being parked up the battery died. Called AA who used a booster pack to start it could not see any reason for the battery to die. Did say it was on the low side but in the morning if its dead probs will need a new battery

In the morning battery was dead so jump leads got it going and i put a new battery in...parked up for 2 hours on a new battery and its dead

I cant see any lights on or anything thats visible that would drain a battery so quick

Any ideas would help

Noticed any fan working after parking?

Have you replaced the infotainment system? It has been reported that some could drain battery due to bad can bus cooperation or kind of adjustments could resolve issues..
