Hi everyone my skoda octavia vrs 2012 vrs dsg cut out the other day when bringing the kids back from school.When I stopped in traffic it just cut out eventually I got it started after a few attempts,also about 3 months ago I was doing about 40 mph when suddenly it lost power for split second but then it just carried going.Any advice would be great..John.

Could be anything. Might be a blocked fuel line or fuel filter. Got any error codes at all?

Thanks for the reply mate I've had nothing come up on the dashboard,  i haven't took it it to the garage.It got serviced about 2 weeks ago and the fuel filter was changed..

It could be a small air lock in the fuel system. I'd take it back to the servicing garage and ask them
