flying up steep hill the other nite & 2 of those boy racers flew by me in there corsas or what ever they were and gave me funny look....mmmm, me thinks...

down into 4th and floored it......:eek: flew by the two of em at 110 GOIN UP THE DAM HILL !!!!.

the look on there faces was worth ever drop of extra fuel used.....

I got burned off the lights last night by a Yaris, i couldnt believe it! thought he would be no measure but i did have some weight in the car.

I,m still waiting for mine to loosen up at 11,000 ....but it is going quite well and is getting faster by the day......it's just getting used to the K&N filter so another month will see that topping out (it takes a couple of months for the ECU to learn) .....when I wear the front tyres out and put something half decent on there I may even be able to stop the wheels spinning

My 2.8 tiptronic has just turned 19000 and I saw 150mph on the clock the other day(although not on the public highway officer honest!!!)

Had to drop it into 4th to do that though,5th is so high geared it runs out of puff at about 130mph.

I have a 2.8 manual, with 57k, and it moves very well, haven't seen more than 143mph on the clock, did want to hold on till we reached 150, which it would have reached eventually, but the satnav indicated a bend coming up so I thought I'd better be sensible. Italian Autostrada have some surprisingly sharp bends on them, which come as a bit of a shock when you're used to UK motorways with their gentle curves. :eek:

I thought the same when mine reached 10K. Just wait till you get to 20K it only gets better !!! Not only the acceleration but you'll get an extra few mpg at 20K compared to less than 10K.
