SD Cards for Dummies

Featured Replies

Sept 2015 Reg Fabia 3 SE L TSI. Right I have read lots of posts re transferring music to SD card for the Bolero. Lots of posts seem to be around Windows kit. I have an iMac with an SD card slot.  In simple step-by-step instructions, how do I transfer my iTunes library onto an SD card so that it retains Playlist and album artwork?  I can copy and paste music, (to SD or USB), but then just have one line track titles in alphabetic order, no playlists, no artwork.  Any help greatly appreciated.  Don't mind buying software if needed.

I addition, I also have masses of music on an iPod Classic. Tried plugging that into the car USB and got the message "Device not supported".  An iPod Mini gave same result. Is it just too old, or.....?

One last.........how do I overcome the DRM problem of such tracks not playing from SD, or USB

Annoyingly, my wife has just bought a Toyota Yaris Hybrid. Plugged her iPod Mini into the USB and it came straight to life with all mod cons.

Have at it, Chaps and Chapesses.

And from what I understand of I tunes you can't simply drag and drop folders

Still reading up on this so bear with me I haven't forgot

I will in the interest of science download iTunes and have a tinker with it trying to get the two to talk together
