engine code CZJD EA211

Featured Replies

I've searched high and low for this engine code.  Or Google has. Or I've gone mad.

Found nothing.  Can anyone point me in the right direction.

It is the 1.2 TSi engine detailed in the paperwork of the car I pick up on Monday.

Maybe it is the very latest clockwork windup emission free device.

What are you picking up, a new car?

It will be the last of the Euro 6 emission 1.2TSI if it is as the engine is being discontinued.

It's a Fabia Combi 1.2 TSi DSG 81 Kw 108 bhp.   Maybe the engine is a recon.

Off now to see if I can find the build date.

Thanks

What do you mean a recon engine, and why would it be?

When was the car first registered?

The V5 has the engine number, the VIN sticker in the boot has the engine number,

the engine number on the engine is not so easy to find but the barcode sticker is there to see or should be.

The recon engine remark was a joke. Sorry. Won't happen again.

Back to the question. Do you know where I can find any reference to CZJD EA211 engines?

I was told it was part of the last batch of 1.2 engined cars before the 1.0 litre replaced it.

I had heard of buyers getting 1.0 litre engines even when they had specified 1.2.

I told the dealer not to even try that.

It was registered a week ago but not picked up till next Monday

Damn and blast.    Given bad information by dealer.   Engine is a CJZD   NOT a  CZJD at all.     Seems OK now.

Thank you for your interest and help.

Next will keep trying to decode my VIN.
