Hi, I have to change my brake pads on front and rear, and searching parts was no problem for rear but front has got two slightly different shapes and can't get anywhere what will fit my car.

Plus the front ones are just few months old but I just found out that they are wearing off on both sides uneven, with part closest to centre of wheel is nearly unused and other end nearly gone.

 

Any help and advice will be most welcome!

If the pads are wearing as unevenly as you say then I wouldn't be replacing them until I'd fixed the underlying issue as the new ones will only go the same way.

 

It's hard to tell from your picture but they seem to be wearing pretty evenly? Are you sure they aren't offset from new? It would be unlikely for them to have worn enough in 2 months for you to notice uneven wear.

ok checked it again and before I'll go the extra mile I have pushed my phone again in there to check. Aaaaaand I got cheated! this bloody wedge is shaped so it looks like wearing unevenly... Lucku my I didnt buy new pads yet!

Isn't that chamfer part of the pad?

 

 

 

These have the chamfer on. I vaguely remember the brembo pads I put on my previous twindoor had the chamfer.
