I have a brand new Superb SE TEch with the Amundsen sat nav. I am trying, and failing, to transfer across my favourites from my trusty Garmin satnav, 10 years worth. The Garmin files are GPX, 2.2mb, and I uploaded them to the Update Portal. That seemed to be succesful, the system is showing 282 saved destinations. The Skoda system then saves them to a zipped file, now 39kb. I extract all and it leaves me with a file of 111kb. When I go into that file the Destinations and Personal POI files are both showing as empty. Just in case info was still in there somewhere I put the extracted files onto a blank SD card and tried to upload it into the Amundsend unit. Unfortunately it does not find any files to upload.

 

I have tried searching on the site and found nothing. I also looked through a number of pages but still nothing. Oh yes, I have rtfm but that does not go in to much detail.

 

Any thoughts?

I think on skoda-connect portal, u must not exceed 50 Categories or Collections of POis (maxi ; 8Mo per category)...
