Hey guys!

Since I own an Octavia break from 2005, was wandering if there is the chance of upgranding a standard Octavia to a Scout, in terms of look (bumpers, wheell and under door trims), no 4x4 system needed.

If you lads can give a few tips would be very much appreciated.

In theory yes although front fog lights could be an issue. Other trim is stuck on. Might all look odd though with normal as opposed to the Scouts' raised ride height.

Yeah I got your point man. Think I'll have to forget the under door trims, but I will not stop searching for an answer. Thank you for the reply anyway.

Just in theory, I thought you just need to swap the bumpers, glue on the side trims, and it's done. Fog lights covers are different, but bulbs should be the same. Don't know if tail pipe position should be adjust though.

 

Haven't found a proper pre FL pic so I used a FL one and lower the car, so you would judge if ride height matters or not.

 

Comparing my vRS to my Scout I think tail pipe will be fine. 

The worse is fiding parts here in Portugal, since there aren´t much scouts in cruising around.

 

Anyway, if any of you have more info I would be most appreciated.

...not a Fake Scout, only Scout tire size at a normal Octavia PreFL because I didn´t like the "deeper" look of the silver sills in the middle while front and rear is black...

 

 

so I make my sills black like the front and rear and mounted mud flpas
