Missing a Roof Bar Cap / Cover

Featured Replies

Hi All,

After searching this forum, it seems like I've joined the club where I'm missing a roof bar cap / cover for the front nearside / passenger side.

I think it may have been pinched as it was there and then gone, but can't be 100% sure...anyhow, does anyone know the best place to get one please? Is there a part number I should be searching for?

Thank you :)

Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago, I'm sure mine was pinched. Spent a while looking online for one, gave up and got one from local dealer part number K5L0860145GT5 £28 inc VAT. When I put it on I super glued it, and did the same to the other ones.

Thanks Anzio.  I'd like to thief-proof mine too before they disappear.

Do I take it they simply pull off - or are certain tools required?

Cheers

they can become loose and lift and flt off when motoring at 50 etc, lost one of mine here a la frog, few people here thieve bits off cars!

They do just pull off no tools required.

Known problem, dealers will solve it by using an adhesive to glue the caps on. Lost 2 on my first Yeti and Skoda (UK) worked with the dealer to come up with a solution that worked. My new Yeti's caps have been fine - so far!!
