  1. My Yeti 2 ltr SE 4x4 2010, never missed a beat in the eight years I had it. Oil changed every year by myself ( so I knew good stuff was going in ) Fantastic engine.
  2. I lost one when I had my Yeti. I think it cost £28 from dealer, and I did indeed glue it and the others on, still all there when I part exchanged it.
  3. There is no way I would ever try that, unless you want to possibly damage the wheel bolts and alloy, and even the tyre. SurreyJohn's tip would seem far more sensible.
  4. My 215/45/R16 alloy fits perfectly, and doesn't raise the floor. I don't use the polystyrene tool holder that came with car, instead they are in a large soft bag, which fits snugly inside the wheel. Car is 68 plate Monte Carlo 71kW or 95BHP
  5. Sad to say I am also Yetiless after nearly eight years of totally faultless ownership. This forum is brilliant and the help and tips and advice over the years have been much appreciated. Many thanks and best wishes to all ( especially the longer term members )
  6. I did say " most " do. There are dozens of places on-line selling spares, blades etc, for them.
  7. You obviously realised Defenders do have rear wipers ( or most do ) and deleted your comment.
  8. I only asked that question after reading through six pages of answers from some experienced Yeti drivers. Over the years we have had on occasions people asking things which turned out to be a complete wind up. As far as I'm concerned this guy shot himself in the foot when saying his last vehicle was a Defender. How did he keep the rear window on that clear?????? Since I asked the question the thread went dead. Strange ............
  9. I posted on here ages ago about the same thing. I found it was the engine cover location fixings rattling on the round location mounts. As above placing a hand on the cover stopped the the noise, moving the plastic bits in the cover sorted it.
  10. Over the years he's been a fantastic source of info.
  11. Try this, it's all on here if you search. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/308760-mot-fail-wobbly-headlight-bumper-removal/?hl=%2Bdealer+%2Bbroken
  12. How quick did the rear window on the Defender get dirty?
  13. You can select Yeti on the main page, it's in very small blue print.
  14. I think this was the one......... http://skoda.workshop-manuals.com
