Two TREK 8000 mountain bikes - SOLD

Featured Replies

I have lurking in the shed for some time my wifes and my TREK 8000 mountain bikes. They are little used. They are caliper brake types and from memory are the Hardtail Shox Judy with Shimano gears (three changers). We will for sure not be using them again and are just taking up space. I would like £150 for the pair just to clear them out.

If anyone is interested I will go mountaineering, uncover them, dig them out and takes some pics. Again from memory mine is Blue with Red forks and my wifes is Blue/Silver with Black forks (if that helps).

Would you split them? My wife has just bought a bike, the kids have theirs so I'm now the only one without.

What size frame is it please and where in East Sussex are you?

Cheers

Possibly, but I would prefer to move both as just moving one doesn't make much more space as they stand next to each other. I am 7 miles from Tunbridge Wells in Crowborough. I don't know much about bikes - where to I measure it from?   By the way SWMBO's is a woman specific frame (or youth's) something to do with being more comfortable for woman's pelvis or reach, can't remember exactly what the dealer said.

Hi Jigger72

I Googled it. From the centre of the crank to the top of he frame, near the saddle post, My one - the all Blue one is 45cm and my wifes is 40 cm. They are currently set up for us, as a guide I am 5ft 7in and my wife is 5ft 2in.

Hope this helps, Andy
