Suspension springs.

Featured Replies

I'm upgrading the springs on my wife's 2009 VRS (2.0 CR) diesel estate, fitting Eibach ones and new shockers too as it's done about 130k miles.....

.......anyway the old springs are in very good condition, so is it worth me advertising them for sale?  Would standard VRS springs be considered an upgrade for anyone with a lesser model?

.......or would I be wasting my time?

Thanks,

John.

I think that you would have trouble selling springs with 130k miles on them unless someone wants the return their car to stock before selling it. Although the springs may visually look in good condition the metal may have tiny fatigue cracks and the spring rate will not be the same as when new.

Fair comment.

Anything will sell if in reasonable condition & the price realistic.
