Carpoint Induction Kit

I've just laid my hands on a carpoint chrome cone filter, I've looked for reviews on the net but can only find one site called icon who supply the kit, apparently carpoint are new to the UK, and I'm in two minds as to whether I should fit the filter and be a guinea pig for what might be a catastrophic poor filtration problem, has anybody any experience of carpoint products, especially the CAI kits?
